Letter from Rabbi Avraham Chaim Noah upon the request of (Rabbi Yosef Tzvi) Maharitz Dushinski, Jerusalem 1948
Stensilled letter with signature of Rabbi Chaim Noah 'Baal Hashiurim'. The letter was written in the name and by the request of the Mahari"tz Dushinski, who was unable to write by himself because he was hospitalized at that time. Jerusalem 21st day of Adar Sheini, 1948.
One page, written on both sides, 25x20cm.
The letter is about appointing Mashgiach Kashrus (Kosher Supervisors) in the factory 'Shemen' in Haifa, on behalf of Mahari"tz Dushinski. Because of the urgency of this matter Rabbi Chaim Noah wrote this letter without the Mahari"tz Dushinski adding to this letter. At this time, the Mahari"tz was sick and hospitalized as written in this letter by Rabbi Chaim Noah. 'Our Rabbi is today in a private room in Wallach Hospital, and I am in a rush to send this letter because this is an urgent matter'.
