The Grand Rabbi Pinchus Menachem Alter, (1926-1996) Grand Rabbi of Gur and President of Moetzes Gedolai Hatorah Agudat Yisroal, before that he served for many years as head of the Yeshiva ‘Sfas Emes’ He was a member and leader of the Moatzes Gedolai Hatorah of Agudat Yisroal , was known as the Pnei Menachem for the name of the sefer he authored.
