Egyptian Cartonnage with Djed Pillars
Late Period, 664-332 BC
A portion of cartonnage with polychrome frieze of djed and buckle of Isis symbols, objects and a lion-headed funerary bier with schematic canopic jar and lower legs of Anubis beneath in the field above; mounted on a custom-made stand. 241 grams including mount, cartonnage: 23.5 x 13.5cm (9 1/4 x 5 1/4"). Fine condition.

From an old British private collection; formed between 1975 and 1985.
