Indus Valley Vessel with Ibexes and Birds
3rd-2nd millennium BC
A ceramic vessel with bulbous body and everted rim, the body painted with four geometric panels, two panels with leaping ibexes and two with stylised bird in flight, band of hatched lines below the rim. 1.1 kg, 22cm (8 1/2"). Fine condition.

Property of a North London gentleman; previously in a private collection formed in the 1990s.
