Avar Mount Set with Masks
6th-7th century AD
A group of bronze tinned pentagonal belt mounts, hollow to the rear, with incised scroll detail suggesting a human mask; to the reverse of each, three attachment pegs. 32 grams total, 25-26mm (1"). Fine condition. [6]
