המכתב מתוארך בלועזית.
על המסמך 25 אנשים, ביניהם חיים לייב גוטמאן, יודל פאלאטשעק, מיכאל פאלאטשעק, ברוך גאלדבערגער, דוד גרינוואלד. כן חתומים כמה מראשי הקהילה הידועים לנו ממסמכים אחרים, ובהם: ר' אברהם דייטש, ר' יוסף פריינד, ועוד.
בתקופה זו כיהן ברבנות העיר הגאון רבי יואל אונגר זצ"ל, תלמידו של מרן החתם סופר.
תעודה חשובה ונדירה זו נדפסה בספר 'מזכרת פאקש' חלק א'.
