Impressive Copy of Responsa Tashba"tz Beautiful Copy with Exclusive Original Binding; Amsterdam, 1738
Responsa from Rabbi Shimon bar Tzemach of Duran in superb condition, still in its original binding hand colored in red, green, brown and gold.
Tradition among the Jews of Amsterdam believes that this binding is made of fish leather, handmade by Amsterdam's artists. In our opinion it is not made of fish's skin but from delicate parchment , This unique singularity of an original cover of Responsa Tashba"tz is out standing .
All four sections are bound together in one volume. Each section has its own title page and there are two title pages at the start of the sefer.
