A long compilation of [54] pages handwritten by Rabbi Yechezkel Sarna the head of the Hebron Yeshiva.
The heading of some of the leaves is "Kuntras Yehareg V'Al Ya'avor". Th eheading of the first page is "Elucidating Maimonides' Method and that of Ba'al HaMaor as regards Chilul Hashem in private".
The compilation was written on official leaves of Rabbi Sarna, on both sides of the leaf. Two columns per page, with additions on the margins, between the columns and the lines. On several leaves, instructions / additions for the printing of the book, in different script, presumably that of one of his disciples.
Rabbi Yechezkel Sarna (1889-1969) a leading Torah and Mussar sage. A close disciple of the Alter of Slabodka, Rabbi Natan Zvi Finkel, and the son-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Epstein the head of the "Knesset Yisrael" Yeshiva in Slabodka. Rabbi Yechezkel was one of the founders of the branch of the yeshiva in Hebron and in 1934, after his father-in-law's death, officially replaced him. Rabbi Sarna was also one of the heads of "Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah". His opinion was heard on any public issue at stake.
