* The holy Rabbi David Shlomo Eibeschitz (1755-1813). From great Admorim of his generation. Still in the days of his youth he was renowned as a prodigy. The holy 'Meir Netivim' offered him as match to his niece the daughter of Rabbi Yechiel Michel Margulios. For a certain time he lived by his father-in-law in Leszkowitz (Ulashkivtsi), and at the age of about 20 was appointed as Rosh Yeshiva in Nadvorna, there he started to live in seclusion and holiness. From about the age of 27 he started writing his Torah and authored the hidden and revealed Divrei Torah. He then authored 'Megilat Starim' on Mussar and commentaries of the first chapter of Tehilim, and the sefer 'Masos Kol HaMisablim' on Magilat Eicha.
Served as Rav in Korsakov, Bodzanów, and Soroca. Was from disciple of the Holy Rabbi Yechiel Michel Magid of Zlotchuv, the holy Rabbi Zev Wolf of Tcharni-Ostroh, and the holy 'Yosher Divrei Emet' Rabbi Meshulam Feivish of Zabriz.

Special benefits are known about the sefarim printed by the Rav of Slavuta and his descendants, the press was of the most special of that time and the sefarim were known to be extraordinary. Besides in their printing press they proceeded with much holiness and purity, even the engravers and printers immersed in the Mikveh before printing.
