HaRosh Responsa – Two Signatures of the Gaon Rabbi Yirmiyah Lewy / Signature of Rabbi Anschel Brezava Responsum by rabbeinu Asher. Lemberg, [1802].
Appearing twice on the title page of the book is the signature of Rabbu Yirmiyah Lewy.
An additional signature, presumably by Rabbi Anshil Schick "Brezava", the son of Rabbi David Schick, author of 'Imrei David'.
Appearing on one of the leaves of the book is a scholarly gloss ending with the words "…Avraham Shmuel Yehuda…"
Rabbi Yirmiyah Lewy (1811-1874), one of the leading rabbis of Hungary. The son of Rabbi Binyamin Ze'ev Lewy author of "Sha'arei Torah" and the grandson of Rabbi Elezar Lewy, the author of "Shemen Rokeach".
