Segulah! The Blessing of the Author: "I Hereby Bless Anyone who Takes the Book that God will Help Him" – Magen Avraham – Lublin, 1887 – First Edition
Special Segulah book!
The author, Rabbi Avraham of Turiisk [the son of Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl] writes in his fascinating introduction to the book that the book is titled "Magen Avraham" since it will protect he who studies it (Magen – shield in Hebrew) and God will help him.
Beneath the author's printed blessing, the printers printed a photocopy of the author's handwritten blessing: "These are the words of he who prays for the entire Jewish people and for the people who buy the book that they will be well all days, Avraham…".
Before us is the second section of the book. Two title pages, the second with red lettering.
The first title page and 14 leaves at the end are missing. Except for this, the book is in excellent condition.
