An ancient booklet, in fine script, containing prayers in Hebrew, vowelized. Also contains instructions and Dinim in Yiddish. Written in Europe in ca. 1800.
[18] pp, handwritten on bluish paper, in square Ashkenazic script. Relatively large script.
A detailed description of Seder Kaparot on the eve of Yom Kippur.
The headings and initials of each passage are in red ink – a relatively rare phenomenon in such manuscripts.
At the beginning of the booklet, an ownership inscription (the writers?): "Nachman Schwartz". The shape of the script indicates that it was written in the mid-18th century.
21x14 cm.
Good conditions. Signs of worming. Typical wear.
