REICH FEDERATION OF JEWISH FRONT-LINE SOLDIERS STICKPIN
The Reichsbund Juedischer Frontsoldaten ("Reich Federation of Jewish Front-Line Soldiers", RJF) was an organization of German Jewish soldiers founded in February 1919 by Leo Loewenstein to demonstrate Jewish loyalty to the Reich. The goal of the organization was to stop the spread of anti-Semitism based on the argument that Jews were disloyal to the countries they lived in. The Reichsbund further regarded the Germany as the mother country of all German Jews. Excessively rare stickpin worn by a member of the RJF, 2 in. long with knurled pin, the emblem of the sports arm of the group in a silver and black finish. Very good. The group's activities were outlawed by the Nazi government in 1936, and in 1938 it was dissolved.
