Rare! Manuscript , Torah Innovations by the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Landsberg of Posna Author of 'Toar Pnei Shlomo'.
A bundle of pages with Torah innovations on the Parashiyot of Chumash Bereshit by the great Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Landsberg-Posner, handwritten by him. The innovations are written in clear language and demonstrate wonderous genius and knowledge in fine orderly script.
The writer, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Landsberg. A renowned Talmid Chacham and philanthropist. A descendant of the prominent Kalavari family (one of important families of the exiles of Spain whom many of its sons served as prominent Rabbis in Poland). The disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Lifshitz Rav of Warsaw and author of 'Chemdat Shlomo', and of his great father Rabbi Yosef the Dayan of Posna. His son Rabbi Moshe served as Dayan at the Beis Din of the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger (and appears beside him in the well-known picture). Authored the book "Toar Pnei Shlomo'. Passed away in 1863.
