Many Responses from Shut Shem Olam by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rabin one of the  greatest Poskim of Galicia handwritten by hIm, 1855.


The responses (from Siman 99 to Siman 141) are handwritten by the Gaon author Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rabin the Rav of Krashtein and at its end, he wrote: "אברך את ה' אשר היה בעוזרי להשלים קונטרס הלז חלק התשובות וכן יאיר ה' עיני במאור תורתו וכאשר הראני חסדו עד כעת יוסף שורת ידו לאמץ חילי יראיני נפלאות בתורתו עשה יעשה ה" עמד"י או"ת לטוב"ה לפ"ק קטינא דבי רבנן עמוס מתלאות מרובין שמואל אהרן ראבין".


The Holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rabin (1824-1877) one of the greatest Poskim of Galicia. The Rav of Krashtein. Was born to his father Rabbi Zvi Hirsch who was a Dayan inKrakow. A disciple of the Holy Rabbi Chaim of Sanz, who liked him and said of him that he is "perfect in Torah and Yirah". Rabbi Shmuel was one of the editors of the responses in the Shut Divrei Chaim authored by his Rav. In addition, he was the in-law of the son of the Rabbi of Sanz, the Holy Rabbi Yechezkel Sheraga of Shinava. Rabbi Shmuel Aharon served as Rav in small towns like Krashtin and Zabrov and refused offers to serve as Rav in large cities like Munkatch and Reisha. Authored many important books on all subjects of the Torah including: Beis Aharon on Hilchos Gittin, Zera Yishai - commentary on Psikta DeRav Kahana, Chumash HaGiborim, Rashei Besamim on the Shas and more.
