Ma’aseh Rokach on Mishnayot, by Rabbi Eliezer the son of Rabbi Shmuel, Amsterdam, 1840. He was patriarch of the Rokach dynasty of the tzaddikim of Belz.
Ma’aseh Roke’ach delves into and clarifies the Mishna, based on sod and Kabbala. In his preface, the author writes that he had in mind to complete a commentary on all six sedarim of the Mishna, but since he was in a hurry to move to Eretz Israel, he did not complete the commentary on Seder Taharot and wrote commentary only on tractate Oktzin. Rabbi Eliezer is a member of the dynasty of the Admoʺr of Belz and is one of his descendants.
