A leaf of chiddushim from the Baal HaSulam.

Extremely rare. Unpublished. The leaf has writing on both sides (one side has 38 lines and the other has 31 lines)

The Kabbalist Gaon Baal HaSulam left tens of thousands of pages of notes on the secrets of Kabbala, but hardly any chiddushim on the revealed Torah.

The holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ashlag was born in Likova, Poland in 1884. He immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1922 and died in Tel Aviv in 1954. He wrote and taught Kabbalistic works for decades, in a manner that is practically unparalleled. The scope and depth of his works made him one of the greatest Kabbalists and among the most prominent in recent generations. He was essentially the first to make the Zohar accessible to a broad public of scholars, thanks to his monumental composition, Peirush HaSulam commentary (by which he became known). In addition, he was the first in recent generations to formulate a comprehensive Kabbalistic methodology that turned the teachings of Kabbala into something comprehensible and even implementable among a wide audience. He viewed this as his purpose in life and on several occasions even spoke about his duty and divinely ordained mission in the final generation before the Redemption. He even felt that revealing the Kabbala was a concrete step toward the complete Redemption.
