Unusual Variant Edition. Chamisha Chumshei Torah, Nevi'im and Ketuvim. Amsterdam 1700.
Torah, Nevi'im and Ketuvim, with two title pages for the Torah and three additional title pages for Nevi'im and Ketuvim.
On the reverse of the decorated title page are 4 lines in rhymed verse as a prelude to the signature of R' David Nones Turres from Amsterdam. R' Nones Turres was a great Torah scholar and one of the most respected proofreaders of the printing houses in the city. He passed away in 1728.
Beneath the printed rhymed verses is his
hand-written signature, as authentication of the edition.
