Book of responsa authored by Rabbi Chaim HaKohen Rappaport, Av Beit Din Ostroh. With approbations by the Oheiv Yisrael of Apta, the Maggid of Chernobyl and the Sar Shalom of Belz.
Two Volumes bound together, with separate title pages. Printed by the grandsons of the Rabbi of Slavita, Rabbi Chananya Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Shapira. Zhitomir, 1857. First edition.
Rabbi Chaim HaKohen Rappaport (1699-1771) served as Av Beit Din Slutzk, Lvov and Ostroh as well as Chief Rabbi of the entire Galicia. He is considered a leading disciple of the Besht.
This copy includes 5 title pages! At the end of the book is a booklet, Otzrot Chaim with novellae on Parshat HaShavua by the author and his family.
