Passover Haggadah with Yiddish translation. Offenbach, 1765. Illustrated. Rare!
The title page features the printer’s mark of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Segal Shpitz and his son Avraham Segal. It depicts a deer running within a border. The word “אופיבאך” appears below it.
There are many woodcut illustrations throughout the book.
A most rare Haggadah. Not found.
40 leaves. 17 cm.
Good condition. Stains, and worn from use. Fold marks on margins of the leaves. Missing front binding cover. The back binding panel is damages and incomplete.
