Shulchan Aruch, Even HaEzer and Yoreh De’ah, With Be’er HaGolah. Amsterdam, 1662. First Printing. Sefer Yesod!

This edition of Shulchan Aruch is proofread and precise, with the addition of the Be’er HaGolah. Two volumes on Even HaEzer and Yoreh De’ah, with Mareh Mekomot and sources of laws that are mentioned in the Shulchan Aruch, along with the Rema’s glosses. Authored by Rabbi Moshe Rivkash of Vilna.

Ever since it was published, the book Be’er HaGolah became a fundamental commentary on the Shulchan Aruch, appearing on the page of the Shulchan Aruch in all editions.
Intriguing, handwritten annotation on page 13b, of Yoreh De’ah.

Rabbi Moshe Rivkash (1600-1671) was born in Prague and resided in Vilna. He was a Rabbi in Poland and Lithuania. He is referred to as the ‘Be’er HaGolah’ due to his monumental composition. The Be’er HaGolah is a comprehensive composition on all four parts of the Shulchan Aruch that details all sources of the Shulchan Aruch from the words of the Gemara and the Rishonim.
