'Erech Lechem'. Kushta 1718. First edition

signatures and glosses including by the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Schor Av Beit Din of Yaritshov.

Sefer Moharikash known as Erech Lechem. Hagahot on Sefer Shulchan Aruch, by Rabbi Yaakov Castro [Maharikash]. With an approbation by the rabbis of Kushtandina.

One of the earliest Halacha books written on the Shulchan Aruch.
Served as the authoritative text of Egyptian Jewry, even when its Psakim opposed those of the Shulchan Aruch.

With a signature and glosses by the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Schor Av Beit Din of Yaritshov and additional important signatures.

Rabbi Yaakov de Castro [1525-1610]: Lived in Safed and Jerusalem and was a guest of Maran Rabbi Yosef Karo. Later he was the Rav of the Jews of Egypt, as written on the title page: 'and his instructions spread across Egypt and its vicinity, by his instruction they shall go and by his instruction they shall come'. Following generations of Egyptian rabbis also relied on his decisions and Responsa. In many places, the glosses in this book match those of the Rema. In the foreword written by the Maharikash' great-grandson to this book, he explain this.

The Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Schor [1730? – 1700?] Av Beit Din of Yaritshov: was a member of the pedigreed families of Schor and Margaliot and a descendant of the author of the Emek Haberacha, the Shelah's father. Author of the books Mincha Chadasha (Alkesnitz, 1774) – Chidushei Sugiyot on matters of Agunot and Sfeikot and matters of Choshen Mishpat, and Likutei Hakemach (Mizerov, 1789-1752) on Orach Chaim. He published these two books in his lifetime. He did not manage, however, to publish his third book, Beit She'arim – Sha'arei Mishpat', in his lifetime [see also: M. Wonder, Chachmei Galicia V, 82-84].
