Brit Avraham by Rabbi Avraham, Father of The Shelah HaKadosh. One of Slavita Press’ Rarest Prints. Slavita, 1794. One of the First Books, Rabbi Moshe Shapira Himself Printed.
Rare and precious book, not seen in Public Auctions. Only an incomplete copy is found in the National Library, Jerusalem.

This is a complete copy, including the rare leaves of the Will of Rabbi Shabai Sheftel HaLevi Horowitz (son of The Shela), author of Vavei HaAmudim. These pages do not appear in all copies.

Brit Avraham by Rabbi Avraham HaLevi son of Rabbi Shabtai, Rabbinical leader in Prague. This book is most rare, and is purportedly one of the first printed by Rabbi Moshe Shapira, two years after he established his printing house in 1792.

Rabbi Moshe Shapira was a Chassidic Rabbi and printer. He served as Rabbi of Slavita and was the son of Rabbi Pinchas Shapira of Koritz, close disciple of the holy Besht.

Chassidic masters were effusive in their praise of Rabbi Moshe’s Press and ascribed great holiness to its printings.

Slavita, 1794.
42 leaves. Complete, beautiful copy. A few worm holes have been expertly filled. New binding.

One of the rarest Slavita prints - a complete copy including the Will pages - never before in public auction!
