The Holy Rav Rabbi Baruch of Kosov (ca. 1720-1782), disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch and the Holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Premyshlany. A great scholar, most knowledgeable in Toras HaNistar. Author of the Sefer "Yessod HaEmunah" and Sefer "Amud HaAvodah", with forewords for Chochmas HaEmes, Derashos and more. His books received enthusiastic approbations by the greatest rabbis and Tzaddikim of his generation.
