American Travel Book to River Jordan and the Dead Sea - Illustrated - 1850

A third and revised edition of the book documenting the voyage made by the American officer William Francis Lynch, who was a researcher of the Holy Land and the first to draw detailed and accurate maps of the Jordan River and the Dead Sea. The book includes these two maps, in folding and opening versions, as well as engravings.
