We are proud to present a new catalog of art books, which also includes dozens of lithographs, engravings and original paintings by leading artists. We have close to 200 books that we purchased, as usual, from various collections and estates, including signed books and books with original lithographs. Please mind the shipping and collection terms.

Four Beautiful Japanese Books in a Box - 1952
Four Japanese books of painting and calligraphy. All the text is in Japanese so we have no information beyond the year of publication, 1952. Each book contains dozens of pages of calligraphy, painting and drawing, on very high quality paper (perhaps rice paper) using traditional techniques. The books are bound in string with a paper cover inlaid with gold bits. All four of them together are housed in a hard folder, bound in glossy cloth with a tooth catch closure. One of the most beautiful items we have seen of their kind.
31X22 cm. Overall good condition, there are some defects in the folder, one of the catch closures is missing.
