A Diary and an Illustrated Memory Book - Two Amazing Items of a Girl in the 40s

Two items that belonged to a girl named Malka Azaria, in her youth during the 1940s:

1. A memory book, bound in a Bezalel cover made of olive wood with an illustration of the Tower of David. The book is full of short letters written by Malka's friends. These are particularly elaborate letters, dating from 1946-1948, and some of them even include very beautiful color illustrations.
17X9 cm. Good condition.

2. A notebook, on the top of which is written: "A diary from my childhood in Portugal after the rescue in the years of World War II." On the pages there are illustrations that include a combination of original illustrations with pasted-on figures, against a background of slogans such as "Unity is strength", "The future pioneers", "Always forward"  and more. In one illustration a child is holding an earlier version of the Israeli flag, with a yellow Star of David in the center. The text in the diary is written in a meticulous French cursive, beginning on May 7 and ending on September 11, 1944. At the end, the poem "Hatikvah" is also written in Hebrew and a photograph of two girls is pasted, perhaps one of them is Malka.
18x14 cm. Good overall condition: Spine is falling apart and cover is partially detached from the pages.
