'דרוש וחדוש' על סוגיות הש"ס, מאת רבן של ישראל הגאון רבי עקיבא איגר. וארשא, תקצ"ט 1839. מהדורה ראשונה של ספר יסוד.
מספרי העמקנות והלמדנות הנודעים ביותר, שנדפס מאז בעשרות מהדורות והוא מהווה סמל לגאונות הלמדנית.
הספר נדפס על ידי בני המחבר, פחות משנתיים לאחר פטירת רבי עקיבא איגר. חישוב שנת ההדפסה מתקבל על פי התיבות: משמת רבי עקיבא... בהקדמה החשובה כותבים בני המחבר על שיטת הלימוד והחידוש של אביהם הגדול. בשער נכתב: "ספר שני", אך זהו למעשה החלק הראשון והכוונה היא שהוא שני לספר תשובות רבי עקיבא איגר שנדפס ארבע שנים קודם.
