יראי ה' נהגו במשך שנים בז' אדר יום פקידת משה רבינו לעשות סדר לימוד - המנהג נפוץ בעיקר בא"י ערי תוגרמה ואיטליה. את סדר הלילה תיקן גאון האחרונים רבי שמואל אבוהב מחבר שו"ת "דבר שמואל" (החתם סופר נוהג לכנותו כשמזכירו בתואר "גאון עולם").
לפנינו הדפסה של מדפיסי פרופס מהאחרונות - דפוס אלמנת המנוח דוד פרופס כ"ץ.

כריכה מקורית עם פגם בגב.
מצב כללי טוב מאוד, מעט כתמים. חלק דפים רופפים, נקבי עש בודדים בסוף הספר.
