The author Lazarus Goldschmidt (1871-1950) was a Jewish-Lithuanian scholar and Orientalist, translator of the Babylonian Talmud into German.
Dr. Shlomo Mandelkorn (1846-1902), Bible and texts scholar, Jewish writer and poet, author of the great Concordance for the Bible "Heichal Hakodesh". He has many talents and knowledge in many fields - poetry and criticism, translation and study of the Bible and the Hebrew language.
