Hand Made Charcoal Portrait Concentration Camp Inmate
Very nice hand made drawn charcoal portrait depicting a Polish (most probably of that origin) prisoner of a Nazi concentration camp time after his liberation. We think this is portrait of WLOCH BOLESLAW born in 07/28/1927 prisoner number 135648 , he was prisoner ok KL Gross Rosen . He's wearing casual clothes but he's bearing an insignia with the number of prisoner he was given in the unknown camp where he was. Number is 135648. Drawing is dated August 1945, 3 months after the war took to its end. We find in German archives few documents after him .
Size 27,5x20cm
