Undercover address in Lisboa 1944
During World War II, it was forbidden to send parcels from Germany to countries at war for example England. Correspondence took place through neutral countries where there were so-called secret addresses intermediating in correspondence from the territories of Germany - eg the General Government to England. The presented card is sent from Warsaw as registered card to a secret address in Lisboa Rue Alexandre Herkulano. German censorship checked the page for any texts written with invisible ink.
