Coffee pot with plateau, 800 silver, Adolf Mayer Senior - Frankfurt
Richly decorated pot with matching plateau. Rococo style with finely worked, beaten rocailles and rose motifs. Pot bulged, on four feet, with depictions of putti, bottom bulged and top slender spout, handle in the shape of a rocaille (small pieces of bone), lid hinged, h. 23cm. Plateau round, rim with decorations matching the jug, Ø 27cm. Both parts hallmarked 800, crescent and crown and AMS (Adolf Mayer Senior, Frankfurt am Main). Around 1900. good condition corresponding to the age with few signs of age and use, silver partly tarnished. Total weight: 1320g.

Reich verzierte Kanne mit passendem Plateau. Rokoko-Stil mit fein ausgearbeiteten, getriebenen und ziselierten Rocaillen und Rosenmotiven. Kanne gebaucht, auf vier Füßchen, mit Darstellungen von Putti, unten gebauchter und oben schlank zulaufender Ausgießer, Handhabe in Form einer Rocaille (kleine Stücke aus Bein), Deckel zum Aufklappen, H. 23cm. Plateau rund, am Rand mit zur Kanne passenden Verzierungen, Ø 27cm. Beide Teile gepunzt 800, Halbmond und Krone sowie AMS (Adolf Mayer Senior, Frankfurt am Main). Um 1900. Guter, dem Alter entsprechender Zustand mit wenigen Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, Silber teils angelaufen. Gesamtgewicht: 1320g.
