Michael Fingesten (1884-1943), erotic bookplate, 1st half of the 20th century.Ex-libris in copper engraving with passepartout. With inscription: "SABATTINE". Signed in pencil below. Dimensions approx. 20 x 13.5 cm. With slight traces of age, paper darkened, minor stains. Michel Fingesten, actually Michael Finkelstein (born April 18, 1884 in Buczkowitz, Austrian Silesia, died October 8, 1943 in Cerisano, Calabria) was a painter and graphic artist. Fingesten was one of the most prolific graphic artists of the 20th century.Michael Fingesten (1884-1943), erotisches Exlibris, 1. Hälfte 20. Jh.Exlibris in Kupferstich mit Passepartout. Mit Beschriftung: "SABATTINE". Unten mit Bleistift signiert. Maße ca. 20 x 13,5 cm. Mit leichten Altersspuren, Papier nachgedunkelt, kleinere Flecken. Michel Fingesten, eigentlich Michael Finkelstein (geboren 18. April 1884 in Buczkowitz, Österreichisch-Schlesien, gestorben 8. Oktober 1943 in Cerisano, Kalabrien) war Maler und Graphiker. Fingesten war einer der produktivsten Graphiker von Exlibris des 20. Jahrhunderts.
