Manuscript - Ledger of Torah Novellae from Yeshivah Students in Hungary. Chust, 1907-1912


Manuscript with Torah insights on various topics - ownership and acquisition, marriage,  hilchot treifah, etc. by several writers. Chust, 1907-1912.


This notebook apparently passed through the hands of several students over the years, each adding his own chiddushim or copying divrei Torah for the purpose of his studies.


P. [1] "... It appears to the Admor, the gaon shlit"a ..." P. [3] " ... It also appears to the Admo"r, the gaon ..."

P. [12] is signed by one of the writers, "written by me, Yitzchak Mordechai HaKohen."

Pp. [14-20] bear a transcription from Sefer Beit Yitzchak on hilchot treifah.

P. [17]: "I noted this all for myself from Sefer Beit Yitzchak, Monday of the week parashat Netzavim-VaYelech, 1912."


Signatures and stamps: "The small one, Tzvi HaKohen of Yarmat"; "Tzvi HaKohen, B. Yarmat"; p. 13 bears the signature of  "The small one, Avraham Ozer Kahan HaKohen, 1932." The inner side of the front binding is signed by "Yentel daughter of Blumaleh."


[1] thick notepad in its original semi-leather binding. [20] pages written in ink and pencil + [117] blank leaves. 26 cm.

Overall moderate-fine condition. Tears and wear in the margins of several leaves. Original binding, worn and blemished.
