Tallit Kattan for a Child from a Distinguished Family. Italy. 19th-20th Century. Rare and Especially Exciting
Tallit kattan made of silk fabric especially sewn the size of a three-year old child from a distinguished family in Italy.
The body of the tallit is white. Additional square of light blue fabric sewn on each of the four corners for reinforcement. Additional light blue stripe along one edge of the tallit. Each corner has a single hole with tzitztit tied through it according to the Sephardic custom.
Tallit width: 29 cm. Tallit length: 58 cm.
Fine condition. Stains.
