Rare: The First Kabbalistic Commentary Printed from the Gr"a's Manuscript
Biur V'Gam Hagahot al Kol HaZohar V'Raya MeHeimena U'Midrash HaNe'elam V'Idra Rabba V'Zuta by the gaon, the pious rabbi, light of the Diaspora, G-d's Heavenly angel ... Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna. Brought to print by his son Rabbi Yehudah Leib and his grandson Rabbi Ya'akov Moshe son of Rabbi Avraham, directly from his sacred manuscript. Vilna, 1810. First edition. Especially rare sefer.
One of the first Kabbalistic works by the Gr"a to be brought to print, and the first printed from the Gr"a's manuscript. On the title page: "None other than this volume has been published, as we will explain in the foreword." The foreword then explains that this work was in a manuscript on its own. It was therefore printed early, and on its own.
