Two Sefarim by the Gr"a about the Form of the Land and the Form of the Beit HaMikdash

* Tzurat HaAretz L'Gevulotehah Saviv V'Tochnit HaBayit, MiSefer Melachim U'MiSefer Yechezkel, with Rash"i's commentary and an elucidation from the gaon Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna, brought to print by the author's sons and his disciple. Shklov, 1802. First edition.

With a foreword by the Gr"a's sons and Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Shklov. Without the leaf with the maps.

Vinograd, Sifrei HaGr"a 22. Dinstag 27.

Signatures appearing within the border of the title page include those of Rabbi Mordechai b"r Tzvi Hirsch b"r Moshe Meislish, author of Shirat Moshe, one of the most prominent Chassidei Chaba"d in Chevron. Their grandfather, Rabbi Moshe, was one of the Ba'al HaTanya's leading disciples. Stamps from the Sha'arei Tziyon study hall in the churvah of Rabbi Yehudah HeChassid in Jerusalem.

Gloss.

42, 39- 40 leaf, 18 cm. Blue paper.

Moderate-fine condition. Worming perforations. Magnificent leather binding.

* Tavnit HaBayit HaShlishi as explained in Yechezkel [Chapters 40-47] with an elucidation by ... Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna. Brought to print by a member of his family ... Rabbi Shmuel. Berlin, 1822.
First edition as a  sefer in its own right. Leaf 3 bears a foreword by the person who brought it to print, "Shmuel HaKattan." This is apparently Shmuel Klein, who published a Passover Haggadah with the Vilna Gaon's commentary, with slight changes. Prague 1813 and 1815.
The sefer opens with a foreword by Rabbi Yehudah Leib and Rabbi Avraham, the Gr"a's sons, from the Shklov edition, with slight changes.
24 pp, 20 cm. As in most copies, this one lacks the map. As recorded in  Mif'al HaBibliographiah HaIvri: This leaf is lacking in most copies. Even the  sefer scanned in the National Library's web site does not contain the map.
Very fine condition. Aging stains. Magnificent leather binding.
