Rare Document Signed by the Ra'ava"d of Pinsk-Karlin, Rabbi Shmuel Michel Rabinowitz
Rare sales contract for the sale of a lot in Pinsk-Karlin, signed by the ra'ava"d, the gaon Rabbi Shmuel Michel Rabinowitz. Pinsk-Karlin (Lithuania), 1922. Rare document, with a seal that is even more rare.
Deed of sale - a lot with buildings in "Migrashei Geulah." After it was bought by R' Ber Golub from R' Dov Machlis, the buyer sold it back to the seller, returning the entire sale price. He takes responsibility for this sale; this deed of sale is just as all deeds of sale customary among Jews. Signed in the presence of two witnesses, residents of the city of Pinsk-Karlin, Shmuel Buchman and Yitzchak Rapoport. At the end of the document, the ra'ava"d Rabbi Shmuel Michel Rabinowitz notes and signs that this was signed in his presence.
