* Last wills and testaments by Rabbi Yoel HeChassid [Frumkin] of Omtchislav, disciple of the Gr"a. Shklov, 1802. First edition. Rare sefer, incomplete copy.

First edition printed right after the author's passing and later printed in many editions. [Refer to A. Ya'ari, "HaDefus HaIvri B'Shklov" Kiryat Sefer 22, 1945-1946, pp. 138.] Rabbi Yoel Chassid composed a commentary on the mishnah known as Chiddushei Mahar"i or Chiddushei Maharia"ch [also present in this catalog].

[18] leaf, Lacking the title page and the publisher's introductory leaf, which are not present in all copies - the copy listed in the HebrewBooks website is incomplete in the same way as this copy. Approximately 16 cm.

Very fine condition. Aging stains. Isolated worming perforations. Magnificent new binding.


* Midrash Aggadat Bereishit on the Torah and faith, first edition with an elucidation by Rabbi Avraham ben HaGr"a. Vilna, 1802. Uncommon sefer.

With Midrash Temurah, Tractate Keilim shel Beit HaMikdash, a bereita on the Kabbalistic wisdom of early sages from the time of King David, and another bereita compiled at the same time, Tractate Geirim, Tractate Gihennom and Pirkei Chibut HaKever.

First edition with the commentary by Rabbi Avraham ben HaGr"a, with a lengthy preface by him. In his preface, he writes: "I heard from my father, the Gaon, ztzllh"h, that a count of seven small tractates also includes Tractate Tefillin, Tractate Mezuzah and Tractate Chanukah, but he did not explicitly tell me who brought them.
