Sefer Shema Ya'akov by the Mahar"i Algazi - Dozens of Glosses Handwritten by "the Malach Raphael" of Fez
Shema Ya'akov - derashot by Rabbi Ya'akov Yisrael Algazi, with Ar'a D'Rabbanan including Tosefet Merubah in a shakla v'tarya style entitled Afra D'Ar'a by Rabbi Yehudah Iash. Livorno, 1783.
With an approbation by the Chid"a. Separate title page for Ar'a D'Rabban.
The title page features a signature and stamp from the gaon Rabbi Raphael Even Tzur, av beit din of Fez, more commonly known as "The Malach Raphael" due to his tremendous sanctity. The sefer bears over 25 of his handwritten glosses, some signed 'Raphael' 'Rava"tz.'
