"I Will Defend You - Your Reward is Great"!! Segulah Kuntress by the Lubavitcher Rebbe
Ma'amar 'Anochi Magen Lach - 1918' - kuntress with rare segulah value, given directly by the Admo"r Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Lubavitch on the 25th of Cheshvan - "Didan Netzach" - 1990. Notation on the back of the binding: "Received from the Admo"r shlit"a."
Kuntress of rare segulah value, from every possible angle:
- Date of print: 20 MarCheshvan, the Admo"r Rabbi Shalom DovBer of Lubavitch's birthday. A ma'amar that had never before been printed, it was found just before it was printed directly from his manuscript, about seventy years after the Rasha"b's passing.
- Date distributed by the Rebbe: 25 MarCheshvan - "Yom Didan Netzach" - this was the day Chaba"d Chassidim received the news that didan - that the sefarim are netzach - final and complete.
- Exceptional content: The kuntress opens with an unsurpassed blessing: "I will defend you - your reward is great, " and ends with the words "This volume has significant attributes of eternity and boundlessness, etc."
- Blessings received take on a new meaning when influenced by the Rebbe's hands.
Close to 20 Cheshvan, a new ma'amar was found from the Admo"r the Rasha"b that had not yet been published, starting with the words "I will defend you - your reward is great 1918." Despite only four days earlier, on the eve of 20 Cheshvan, the Rebbe distributed the Etz Chayim compilation, the rebbe announced that the manuscript was revealed at exactly this time by Divine providence, so that it should also be printed and distributed. (Shaha"sh 1991 p. 137).
During the farbrengin on Shabbat Parashat Chayyei Sarah, 22 MarCheshvan, the Rebbe said: Due to Divine providence revealing this new ma'amar by the person whose birthday it is right near 20 Cheshvan (delivered in 1918, yet despite this, it was lost for decades, and revealed just now), it should be printed and distributed to everyone as well, bli neder, (that is, in addition to the Etz Chayim kuntress that had already been distributed - the transcriber), as this will add to the study of Chassidut (and Torah study in general), and study brings to deed.
