Wooden Case and Finials. Yemen. 19th-20th Centuries
Characteristic Yemenite wooden ark. The ark is painted on the outside in a variety of patterns and colors in beautiful, exciting folk art. Three simple metal closures. Overall fine condition.
Ark height: 74 cm. Diameter: 30 cm.
The copper finials are typical folk style.
