Rare Chez Galip Handmade Turkish Hittite Design Ceramic Wine Decanter Set | Exclusive Handmade & Hand-Painted Ceramic Art by Esteemed Turkish Master Potter Chez Gallop, Avanos, Cappadocia, Turkey (Avanos) | Each piece is hand signed on bottom | Approx. Dimensions: 23" H x 11" W x 6" D (Decantor).Completely handmade art work, produced in traditional Turkish ceramic quality, famous for its strength. Firing temperature is between 900-1200 degrees centigrade. It was produced with the technique of under glazing and the natural earth dyes which are water based and the colors last very long and don’t fade. A colorful design with primitive depictions of deer, goats, horses, camels, birds; useful in the daily life of the Hittites.
