Volume of the periodical 'HaPoel HaTzair' - issues of the year 1927-1928.

Volume 21 of the weekly 'HaPoel Hatzair' organ of the Workers Party in Palestine. Tel Aviv, 1927-1928.

'HaPoel HaTzair' began to appear in April-May 1907 in Jaffa, as the organ of HaPoel HaTzair party. With the unification of "HaPoel HaTzair" and "Achdut Ha'avodah" parties in 1930 (5691) it became the organ of Mapa"i. And from 1968 (5728) until its closure in 1970 it was the organ of the Labor Party.

The pages of HaPoel HaTzair served as a central forum for the polemics that agitated the Yishuv, and the workers in particular. And there were published in it news from the various settlement and work areas. In the issues there is much information about life in Eretz-Israel, about the experiences of the workers, about the absorption and the development of the Yishuv, and many advertisements from the businesses of the days of yore.

On its literary stage, the periodical published the works of many of the Hebrew writers who resided in the country. Among them: Devorah Baron, Yosef Haim Brenner, Moshe Smilansky, S. Y. Agnon, Gershon Shapira, Sh. Ben-Zion, Asher Barash, David Shimonovich (Shimoni), Yaakov Fichman, Yaakov Steinberg, R. Benjamin, Uri Zvi Greenberg, and others.
