The text includes a poem by Pablo Neruda wich begins: “Preguntaréis: ¿y dónde están las lilas?.”. On the colophon: “Este volumen, obra de un poeta sin nombre, el primero de las ediciones F.U.E., se acabó de imprimir en un lugar de España en los talleres del periódico clandestino U.F.E.H. el día treinta y uno de diciembre de 1946” (“This volume, the work of a poet without a name, the first of the F.U.E. editions, was printed somewhere in Spain in the workshops of the of the clandestine communist newspaper U.F.E.H. on the thirty-first day of December 1946). Nora’s authorship of this legendary poems of the previous resistance to Franco was not made public until 1997, by the author himself. In the book it states that only 210 copies were published marked from A to L and numbered from 1 to 2000 .
