(1903 - 1944) Italian politician and son-in-law of Benito Mussolini, Minister of Foreign Affairs who later helped force Mussolini's resignation. Executed by the Nazis and fascist sympathizers. Excellent S.P., 5 x 3.25 in. b/w, glossy image of Ciano and German Foreign Minister JOACHIM VON RIBBENTROP at the signing of the The Pact of Steel, known formally as the Pact of Friendship and Alliance between Germany and Italy, the military and political alliance between Italy and Germany executed on May 22, 1939. Mounted, fine condition.
