GERMAN MILITARY ADMINISTRATION VISOR CAP
Scarce German visor cap issued to a member of the 'Militärverwaltung', or military administration, found almost exclusively in the occupied territories. The cap bears a Heer green wool body with dark green piping and side band. A few moth holes are present, but at the back of the cap. A Heer eagle is affixed above aluminum oak leaves and (faulty) cockade. Silver wire chin cords are present and relatively taught. The vulcanfibre visor has been repainted on the underside and very clumsily reattached, as has the Erel-marked, broken sweatband which was loosely stitched by an imbecile through the body of the hat. The liner is heavily stained and the celluloid diamon is torn, but the Erel silver ink stamp is still present. Worthy of rehabilitation.
