(1888 – 1965) 33rd Vice President of the United States under F.D.R., 11th Secretary of Agriculture (1933–1940), and the 10th Secretary of Commerce (1945–1946). He was the presidential nominee of the revived Progressive Party in the 1948 presidential election. I.S.P. 8 x 10 b/w, a fine portrait inscribed and signed in the white bottom margin. Fine.
