(1908-1973) Thirty-sixth President of the United States and creator of the 'Great Society' social welfare programs. America's growing involvement in Vietnam led to his declining a renomination as president. Signature in black ink on an unused 3.75 x 4.75 in. bookplate bearing his gilt facsimile initials and the Great Seal of the United States. Shows minor soiling, else very good.
